My face has been stuck in books recently, as I continue to upskill myself through them.
The books I’m reading, are ones I purchased years ago 🤦🏾♂️ but never ended up reading them, instead they formed a mini display library.
I believe I purchased this in 2013 at waterstones, fast forward to 2022 I finished reading the years old purchase.
Marianne Abib Pech book on leadership is a book I regret not reading sooner, her writing style made this easy to read and absorb, she gives examples, exercises, concise summaries and indirectly forces you to question who you are.
It’s hard to disagree with the points she makes and for corporate leadership, this book was insightful.
You will leave the book feeling different and seeing areas on your leadership style that need development.
Although it does have the financial tag, it can be adapted to all senior management team positions.
You are getting years of leadership experience at you fingertips, which interesting side titbits of knowledge along the way.
This book does not shy away from the harder parts of management either, which adds to it’s completeness.
Defo a book to keep close to hand.
